Why This Topic Even Interests Us

A few years ago our basement flooded and we really couldn’t afford to re-carpet it at the time. However, a friend of ours mentioned we might look into carpet remnants as a cheaper way of carpeting our rec and movie room. So I started looking around and doing some research and found some Olefin remnants at a local carpet warehouse. They had enough remnants on hand to re-carpet our entire basement. This saved us about $600 including an installer we used which we had met through someone else. I thought this was a great find and just figured I’d share what I learned from the experience. Plus I love writing and enjoy sharing life experiences with others so I started Cheap Carpet Remnants.
